Jami Lercher is the Artistic Director of the South Florida Jewish Chorale. A native of Iowa, she has been directing youth and community choirs for over 20 years. Jami also sang professionally with WorldVoices and the Minnesota Chorale, and approaches each rehearsal with a focus on vocal technique and solid foundations of singing. She received her Bachelor of Music Education degree from Iowa State University, her Master of Music degree from the University of Wales, Bangor, and is currently completing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in choral conducting at the University of Miami Frost School of Music. When not singing or conducting, you can find Jami enjoying Creation outside with her husband Ryan and daughter Luci.
Dr. Alan Mason is one of the nation's most well known accompanists for sacred Jewish music concerts and religious services, and is the President of the Guild of Temple Musicians. He received the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Miami in 1993, and is a retired Associate Professor of Music at Barry University. He is an accompanist for the American Conference of Cantors, the Cantors Assembly, the Union for Reform Judaism, and the Zamir Choral Foundation. Alan is the conductor of HaZamir Miami, a chapter of HaZamir: The International Jewish High School Choir, and the Assistant Director of the South Florida Jewish Chorale. Alan is on the Board of Directors of the American Conference of Cantors and the Zamir Choral Foundation.
